The draperies

The draperies

The draperies are usually fleece lined, except for taffeta which misty effect allows the light to enter.

The type of drapery headings is very diversified: from simple to double and triple pleats, including flat or cylindrical pleats

A specific research around flame-retardant fabrics has reconciled us to those previously so ordinary cloths. We currently dispose of high-quality fabrics M1-labeled.

The blinds

We provide a selection of blinds: from the American blinds to the Roman blinds, including shirring and butterfly blinds (papillon), lined or not, made of fabrics or veil. We provide black-out blinds for some rooms like the sleeping room or the meeting room.

Marouflage

Marouflage or wall hanging consists in hanging a fabric on a wall. First, we fix all the imperfections on the surface to be covered, then we set board lathings on all the edges of the room. Between those lathings, we use some Clevyl to avoid any blackening of the fabric. We then stretch out a fleece that will tightly wrap the cardboard. The fabric will be either simply stretched or lined with braids around all the edges. This technique results in a very warm room and in much more pleasant acoustics.

Texturizing

For classic chairs, a traditional texturizing will be made following specific and successive steps:

    Texturizing
  • joining;
  • burlap;
  • spring-tying;
  • stuffing with vegetable hair;
  • white covering before the hanging of the fabric;
  • hanging of the fabric.

The technical sheet of the step-by-step work is illustrated with pictures.
